It has been hot and muggy today and we did have one doozy of a rain storm today. Larcy made me go out with her to find a shower liner... yes, she made me - what part of "no" did she not hear when I answered her phone call? It was a beauty of a storm and she did find her shower liner for Phil's bathroom and I found a wonderful Tommy Hilfiger Twin Bed Set (only way I am going to get this bed cleaned off in this "chaotic" room):
Yes, I was standing inside the store taking the photos while everyone kept saying, do you think it is good idea to stand in front of that glass door to take photos? I explained I had a blog post to get ready for, HELLO.... humph! Once home, I pulled out my "Rider Tarot Deck" and selected a card. I felt like I needed to create something - not large - to describe a little part of my day. Sanded it down:
And came up with "Chaos" for today, June 25.....
Most of the items used were just smack dab near me. I want to keep the "image" part of the tarot cards fairly clean instead of covering the art work up:
Yes, I called "Chaos" my "Word of the Day" -- hmmmmm.... OK, boys and girls, if you would like a chance at the Zentangle 2 book, leave a comment letting me know you do. If you don't want it, you can still leave a comment and tell me "ain't no way I wanna zentangle with you" - that is "my" mantra and I'm sticking to it. Best of luck to you. Hugs to all and have a great evening!

I would like the zentangle book--not a big zentangler, but I always like to look at designs and patterns!! I love your photo of the parking lot--looks like strange alien spaceships hovering about!!
I, too, am interested in the Zentangle book. I just started doing it a month or so ago and am totally addicted! I find it SO relaxing! Right now I'm working on zentangled clipboards for gifts.
Thanks for the giveaway!
You know I love you Marlynn. You are a gal after my own heart. Taking photos by the window is exactly what I would have done, too, thinking "oh how perfect for my blog." Your tarot card is lovely. I like the stitching on the back (front, whatever) that adds so much interest.
And NO, I don't want this book. I would use it like you used it!! Give it to someone who actually thinks Zentangles are fun to make :>)
Such a fun post you adventure blogger you! That picture is totally worth any threat of danger ;)..drawing the chaos card too ... a theme perhaps! Bet it is hard to cover up those beautiful cards ... great what you've done with it!
I DO Love to doodle and do it by the seat of my pants ... a book could be a wonderful thing and open up a whole new world hahaa! I would be very happy to have my name in the hat Ms M!
Thank you for the kind mention too sweet Lady!

I feel that I must clarify your post that "Larcy made you"...if anyone knows you...they know that NO ONE can make you do anything. Besides, I had to save your bathroom cabinets from you!
Ok..I have never been able to make a tangle of zen so I'll try. Put me into the hat.. Tell Harley to put in a good word for me.
You had me laughing as I read the post. Patty sent me over here so that I could win this book!!! She said I would not have to jump through burning hoops or jump off buildings with a single bound so I thought oh..ok sounds good to me. Then I see you are offering up a TANGLE book,,,well.... girl I need this book!!! I love to tangle/doodle and have done some roosters in tangle...don´t ask me the title of them....but I really don´t think they are worthy of posting to my blog as of yet,,,BUT,,, if I should get lucky enough to win this book maybe I could learn a tangle or two and finally post the roosters.
I would even dedicate them to you and your love/hate relationship with tangles and how it all stems from your childhood..it is not your fault you don´t like to tangle. Blame it on your parents!!! So I have to ask myself...Do I feel lucky.........come on Honeysuckle,,,make my DAY!!!!
Greetings,
This is my first visit to your blog as I came from Patty, who mentioned your site and I wanted to have a look.
I personally find zentangles interesting and have been curious to now more about the art form as I used to be an illustrator thirty years ago, working in pen and ink. So I would love to win the book as it certainly would get good use.
Now I shall have a look around your blog.
Wishing you a wonderful day,
Egmont
I love the art, dear Marlynn...beautiful as ever....ooh Zentangles, I love that, however, I think I'm a tat too far away....
My friend Patty sent me over, and yes she does amazing doodles or zentangles doesn't she? I got inspired when I saw hers but boy was I terrible at it, so yes I would love a book to teach me :)
