Hello, Honeysuckle Peeps, the holidays are fast approaching. I had a wonderful visit with my family at Thanksgiving and now have the holiday shopping all done. Started the shopping last weekend and completed it this weekend. Decided not to put the tree up this year, however the Thanksgiving Wreath had to come down,
and the Xmas one put up. However, that meant getting under the stairs which means removing all stuff hanging in the closet.....
But once up, it was worth it. So far have managed to wrap all the gifts (translated, gift bags) and am all done.
Have to admit something to you, peeps, I have finally faced the fact, especially this past year, that I don't like "cleaning" - in fact I just down right don't like it. SO, I made the decision to hire a cleaning company to come in every two weeks. A pretty good price since I do live in a condo and I can't tell you how this decision made me feel - relived. This way I can focus on the craft room, which still looks OK after Aaron's visit. So now with the cleaners coming in this week, I have to clean the wrapping tissue and bags,
The Xmas packagesare in big packages to take into work - since these are for them.
And guess what - I am not pulling out the vacuum or the dust rag. Nope, the cleaners get to do a "deep cleaning" the first time on Wednesday.
Although not Christmas, I found some cool place mats at Bed Bath and Beyond which will do for now.Fasten your seat belts because I have to admit that during the Thanksgiving festivities Harley got lost and I couldn't find him,
But today he reappeared after some "putting" stuff up........ holy cow, Harley,
He was lost among my books and I can only figure my brother was looking at the books and laid them on top of him. Yes the lost was found and the Rat is happy,
Poor Harley gets very little respect from the rest of the family.
Oliver is over for a visit and I gave him his Christmas Gift, yes an Angry Bird. He loved it.
Need to move and get a few more things done, but wanted to check in with you! Don't get to stressed out with the holiday doings! Stay calm. Stay serene and go get a pedicure..... yes, I did on Friday!
Hugs!
